Yes! Solar panels capture daylight, not just direct sunlight, making them highly effective even in Scotland’s cloudy weather. Cooler temperatures can actually improve their efficiency. Pairing solar with battery storage allows you to store excess energy, ensuring maximum savings all year round. Our free bespoke solar design will show exactly how solar works for your property!

Savings depend on your energy usage and system size, but most households save hundreds of pounds annually on electricity bills. With a battery system, you can store excess energy or charge on cheaper overnight tariffs, maximizing savings even in winter. Our free solar design will calculate your exact savings and return on investment!

It depends on the complexity of your system, but we typically complete installations within 2-3 days. We’ll always try to ensure a swift, hassle-free process from start to finish.

Absolutely! With a battery storage system, you can store excess energy generated during the day and use it at night or during cloudy periods. Plus, during reduced generation periods like winter, you can take advantage of time-of-use tariffs, giving you access to electricity at rates 2/3rds cheaper than normal. By topping up your battery during off-peak hours, you can power your home during the day while saving significantly on your energy bills.

I have no hesitation recommending A J Renewables for anything energy saving. From the first contact with me right through the planning and the installation of my battery system, I could not have asked for better service. Your staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. All of the questions I had were answered fully and explained in detail. Installation completed on time by a very competent and very tidy engineer. Very very happy.

Solar Installation

Life and business is all about people. The installation team were first class. They explained what they were doing and then got on with it. Their work area was left neat and tidy and all boxes and rubbish were removed. We will be happy to have them in our house again and I do not think that there is any higher praise.

Solar Installation

From my initial call with Lee to design a system that would meet my needs, the admin assistance and planning from Kelly (first class).the electricians arrived and wired their parts from the house and the next day Sean and Tigan arrived to install the panels.
Everything ran as they stated and full installation was completed in a day as promised. First Class company who I would have no hesitation in recommending to others and I have already. Thanks again to everyone at AJ Renewables.
